Who We Are : Instafix is a professional Phone repair service. This app ("Instafix QC") is used by our technicians and customers to conduct hardware quality checks before and after device repair.

What We Collect and Why

When you log in and run a diagnostic session, we collect and store the following data linked to your account:

• Camera images & video : Captured during camera hardware tests to document lens and image sensor condition

• Audio recordings : Captured during microphone tests to document audio hardware quality

• Device diagnostic data : Hardware test results including sensor readings, battery state, display quality, and component functionality

• Location data : GPS accuracy readings captured during location sensor tests

• Device identifiers : Model, OS version, and hardware identifiers to associate test results with the specific device serviced

• Account information : Name and contact details provided at login, used to link diagnostic reports to your repair record

Why We Link Data to Your Account: All diagnostic data is saved against your account so that : Instafix can retrieve pre- and post-repair reports in the event of a warranty claim. This is the sole purpose of data retention.
What We Do NOT Do

• We do not sell your data to third parties.

• We do not share your data with advertisers.

• We do not use your data for targeted advertising or tracking.

• We do not share diagnostic data with anyone outside :Instafix except as required by law.

  
  

Data Retention: Diagnostic reports, images, and recordings are retained for 12 months from the date of your repair, which covers the standard :Instafix warranty period. After this period, data is permanently deleted.

Your Rights: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@withinstafix.com . Deletion requests will be processed within 30 days.

Data Security: All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored securely. Access is restricted to authorised Instafix staff only.
